We started off as a group of high school students at Sage Hill School in Newport Coast, California. Our mission is to spread our passion for reading throughout Orange County and beyond, now mainly at UC Berkeley. We are passionate about inspiring a love for reading in kids that we hope will stay with them forever.
We believe that students from all different backgrounds deserve equal, high-quality educations. However, this is sometimes not possible due to the different situations that children and their families find themselves in. That's where we come in.
Since 2020, we have partnered with local organizations and shelters to give children the opportunity to have fun while enriching their learning. At each meeting, we prepare a whole host of different activities for the young students, including storytime, reading and writing exercises, crafts, games, and so much more! We have also donated hundreds of books so that children can build home libraries of their own. Every interaction with learning matters for young students, and we hope our efforts help them develop a lifelong love of reading and writing.
Meet our amazing team of passionate readers.
